From co founding to advocating for patients and their families across Canada, the United States and beyond, Liz Crocker (BA'67) has turned curiosity and kindness into a lifelong practice of improving experiences for children, families and communities. Crocker’s next stop is Rideau Hall where, in March 2026, she’ll receive a Meritorious Service Medal from Canada’s Governor General for her pioneering work establishing Halifax's first Discovery Centre alongside Dr. Richard Goldbloom and long-time Dal physics professor Dr. Gerhard Stroink.
