Join us Thursday, February 5, for  in the MacRae Library. In Mi'kmaw culture, the beginning of February marks Apuknajit, when people gather to share food to get through the hardest month of the year.Â
This year, the feast will be followed by a presentation by Courtney Nevin put on in partnership with the DalAC Indigenous Student Collective. The title for Courtney's talk is:Â Apuknajit: the winter spirit- shape shifter. We hope you can join us for all or part of this event! Please RSVP to attend:
4:30 p.m. - Welcome & and smudging (Indigenous Community Room)
5:00 -6:00 p.m. - Feast! Traditional + contemporary
6:00 - 7:00 p.m. -Â Courtney Nevin (Mi'kmawey Debert Cultural Centre)
